What better way to start the New Year off than with a beach clean!
On New Years Day, I hosted a beach clean at Caister-on-Sea!
I was joined by 45 volunteers, where we collected 10.5 full bin bags which weighed a total of 75.75kg.
The weather was nice and sunny, very mild for this time of year (14°C)! It's the biggest group of volunteers to date and largest amount of litter collected!
Thank you to Paul from "Keep Chepstow Tidy" for helping with consolidating the rubbish bags and packing equipment away.
And thank you to Caister Lifeboat Station team who opened to serve hot drinks.
