CORPORATE BEACH CLEANS
Are you planning a company team building activity as part of your company's Corporate Social Responsibility?
The Corporate Beach Clean is a great opportunity to get you and your staff involved in a volunteering activity that has a positive impact on the environment and gives back to the community.
It's great for team building, boosting mental and physical wellbeing and an opportunity for employee personal development outside of the normal working environment.
You get to choose the date and location.
However, my annual leave for 2024 is already allocated, so the only time/day I can host corporate beach clean events are Friday afternoons (1pm onwards).
What’s included?
The corporate event is focused on the beach clean and will be hosted by myself, Emma Sturman.
I’ll organise everything – making sure your chosen beach location is suitable, checking tide & sunset times, checking for facilities (public toilets, cafes, etc.), completing a risk assessment and event management plan (EMP), requesting landowner’s permission, arranging rubbish collection/disposal. The event will be tailored towards the needs of your group.
What is provided?
All the equipment needed, including litter pickers, rubbish sacks and protective gloves.
First aid kit, hand sanitiser & sharps bin.
A safety briefing on the day.
Group photograph.
Public liability insurance cover.
Disposal of the rubbish collected.
PLEASE NOTE: The base fee for a corporate beach clean event has increased since 2022-2023 due to rising costs.
A minimum fee of £250 is based on up to 10 people attending for up to 2 hours beach clean time.

Norfolk Beach Cleans is a not-for-profit CIC and so your corporate beach clean event will help to fund future projects in the local community and the ongoing work on the East Norfolk coast to help protect the oceans, clean-up our coast and reduce unnecessary devastation caused by marine debris!
To reserve the date you want, a deposit of £50 is required. The deposit will be credit towards the total invoice cost of the event, however if you cancel the event the deposit is non-refundable.
