We've only gone and smashed the 1 tonne milestone!!!
Since the beginning of 2021 the group of volunteers have removed 1024.1kg of litter from the environment!!
On Saturday 12th February, I was joined by 20 volunteers at Caister, where we collected 9 bin bags full of litter including a satellite dish and metal fuel can which weighed a total of 66.75kg!!
The weather was nice and sunny, just a little windy at times.
That brings this year's litter total at Caister to 167.75 kg!!
This was the 2nd of the 'Caister Monthly' beach clean events, they'll be on every 2nd Saturday of the month (10am-12pm), check out Norfolk Beach Cleans for upcoming beach clean dates to sign up!
